Long time no post.... as usual, my comp crashed... haha... now the school has issued each teacher a laptop... muahahahahaha....
Anyway, BLESSED NEW YEAR EVERYONE! May the Lord bring you abundant blessings and grace in this year of abundance and overflowing (yup! that's the prophetic word for the year). Pastor Caleb also received words on 31 Dec 2004, while we were at THOP worshipping. This is for Salem:
1) The year of God's MERCY/FAVOUR on our families
2) We shall be a WISE MAN who builds his house on the ROCK
3) A WISE VIRGIN who waits for the Lord.
The day after Christmas also saw a massive tragedy, that took many lives. It signals, in the spiritual, a new beginning of things, a reformation that will take place on the earth(actually it already started). Spiritual activities and natural activities mirror each other. The last time a massive earthquake happened was 40 years ago, and a movement was born. This time, we need to be vigilant about the next move of God. I'm very excited! It's not revival, it's reformation!!! Changes to the entire spiritual atmosphere in the nations and it STAYS...
My prayer for the Sojourners is that we will be watchful about what God wants to do and avail ourselves to be His conduits and channels of blessings. So often we (young and old alike) are so consumed with our own affairs that we forget we are supposed to be His hands, legs and eyes for the Lost and Dying in the world.
After Rayson and Jasmine accepted Christ at the Arise Concert on 1 January 2005 in the Indoor Stadium, I just start to have some "feeling" in my heart for them, like they are like babes in Christ and need to be taken care of and know their God! Haha... maybe my "maternal instincts" at work.... sigh... why can't I just be a sister or just a friend.... maybe too used being a teacher.... and a primary school teacher at that! hav to "mummy" the kidos... sorry you guys out there who feel "squeezed" at times... hahaha... my weakness indeed indeed... worst thing was Rayson said i like a mother.... and he doesn't really know me.... *faints*
It's like the last days are very near... "the kingdom of God is at hand..." my desire is to serve God whenever I can, to glorify Him and see His kingdom expand! Must be focused on the Music and Dance ministry and ask God to lead us, to build into these people...
My personal note for Sojourners? Time for the next level, people... It's really sad if we who have been walking with the Lord for so long don't know how to share the gospel message, or minister to people, listening to the Holy Spirit what He wants to say to the person... hehehe.... are you keen to learn to hear the voice of God??? I sure want to sharpen my hearing! Obedience is what He desires...
The original intention of the blog is to:
1) Glorify God... which I mentioned that time in Sojourner camp - which so many many of you guys are already doing! Glory to God! :) P.S. I love Joshy's blogskin! it's so nice lo... it reminds me of "One Way, Jesus..." Is it supposed to be that?? =P
2) Post links and stories - which Nana is doing very nicely ;) I love her stories, what about you guys? hehehe...
3) Be bhb, talk about myself... haha... would rather boast in knowing God... Something that Alvin said on Sunday that struck me. He prayed for one thing, that God would build into us, work in us... not so much the plans and purposes for the ministry... indeed, character preceeds ministry... he also said... more faith, more passion... simple faith - back to basics... give us clean hands.... We really need God more than ever before... As this year is a year of overflowing and abundance, it's a year we have to be prepared... prepared to be sent out by God, or at the drop of the hat, when your friend suddenly ask you about God, you have a ready word... be ready in season and out of season.... Reading most of the blogs of the youth... just wondering who is the mysterious piggy woman and the person that Sam was mentioning in her most recent blog??? so puzzling, and mystifying! ah! I love to read Niggey's one... very thoughtful... Josh's blogskin and his bro's are super nice lo... hehe... i just dying to know Chris' blog addy, but he won't reveal... *sigh* kaykay... enuff for today, tomorrow have to wake up and prepare to meet my kidos again... they are cute - definitely... :) more about them when they start to "manifest" their antics... haha... *hugz*
