Hi hi,
It's been many months, moons le... have been wanting to post these pics, but so caught up with this and that.... finally the hols are drawing to a close. Had been an eventful month... good rest, penang, youth camp and all that.
Penang was a restful trip. The scenery on top of Penang hill was great, but coz it was a bit hazy, the city was not clearly seen from the top of the hill.... The tram ride was an experience too... this is my 2nd trip up to Penang. The first was when I was a very small kid.
On the last day, we shopped till we dropped. Of course Hiah2 was not keen at all, but because we had to be together (in a foreign place mah), he sort of had no choice but to go with me =P hehehe... of course when you talk about shopping for computer stuff, i'm the one who wants to sit down somewhere to wait instead =P but thank God for a patient Hiah2... the sales were good and i got to stock up for work...yah, t-shirts, pants, skirts, shoes....
was sad that i was not able to taste the A&W there. We already had dinner when we spotted a kiosk outside the building. So only got to eat the ice-cream waffles and a root beer... *sigh* i miss A&W!
Youth camp was great... 1st time tho CHS youth have such an intensive DTC (discipleship training camp) hehe... but i feel that the teachings were really great, and that it was wonderful to see people praying for one another on the last night during the worship night. really can see that there are so many potentials in the Lord! I'm still quite feeling my way abit here and there as regards to human relationships, but i really thank God for people who reach out to me (am i obviously an introvert? =P) people like Sam and Cindy, pastoral heart! Do develop it, kays? they reach out to other people around them. God uses couples you know? Ministry couples... Justin and Liwei... wow! praying for people with a heart! hey, God doesn't look for the qualified, but are you willing to lay your gifts before Him and humbly serve Him?
So many others, can't really list all the names here =P it would take too long! I pray that God will continue to raise the youth here. hehe... and i really shocked Joanna by asking her to take over the keys =P Justin got teaching gifting hor? ;P hahaha....
Miss Sojourners so went back on Christmas day. Haha! the funniest thing is that there are so many events that Hiah2's church and mine clash! haha... ok, when i blog, my english a bit broken... but well! I really think Dorothy mei is rising up (yeah yeah!) the choir is pretty good! (thumbs up!) and Anadee conducting (eyes pop out of my sockets) and so touching to see family nucleus joining the choir.... that is togetherness man! yeah! and Alvin backup singing, Brandon playing, Errol, Dorothy.... brings back a nostalgia.... it's like i havn't been home for a long time... heez.... *sniff* din get to see many people coz they still in thailand. heard that much time is spent shopping huh? *raise eyebrows* hahahaha.... the bazaar was nearby the hotel and some bargain hunters couldn't resist the lure, apparently.... *winkz*
Engagement... hehe.... dun know how to elaborate... just had a simple dinner with grandparents and parents and not to mention my spiritual parents! *winks* of course he felt out of place, but hehehehe... the food was good, got thai curry too! the table conversation was interesting tho... talk about missions, and then strayed to ghoulish stuff *eeeeee* of coz i excused myself! =)
So glad also to be able to see one of my closest and dearest make a stand for the Lord. yes, the heart will be painful for a while, but don't fret coz the Lord is with you and will strengthen you! Another person God has placed in my heart... hmm.... will be praying for you! coz you are precious....
God gave His life for you and me...
Sometimes we ask why we should lay down our lives for Him. He did it for us first, that is why we do likewise...
