Hi!
Haven't been updating lately... esp the last week of school was super hectic. Had so much marking to clear, and lots of things to settle before school closes. I'm so glad and thankful that the hols are here. Granted that i need to go back for courses the last week of the hols, and here and there to decorate the music rooms, I AM grateful for the break.
Past two days was busy bringing my friend, Margaret Wong from Hong Kong, and her friend, Lilian Lee, around singapore. Margaret is now pursuing her 3rd ? degree, this one in medicine.... Lilian's her fren, a paediatrician (correct spell???).... Margaret's my sec school classmate and one of the "3 muskerteers" hahaha... yah, we did almost everything together in school, and even joined the talentime (still have the photo :P) anyways... such fond memories! we went back to TJ where we were from also, it looked the same, except for some extra buildings and renovations, rockclimbing, some team building structure, flying fox... extra volleyball/capstan ball courts... we spotted a rugby team (whenever did we ever have that????) practicing... wow! was really nice to go back... memories... just din get a chance to get back to DHS... hmm... but moved to tanjong rhu already... and from what i'm hearing and seeing, the peeps are not as we were....
tat was yesterday, after walking around bugis to look for suitable backpackers' guest houses... in the end, they put up at my place...hahahha... had to hurriedly pack up my messy room! and move out my table and piano stand.... hahahaha.... but fun man! :)
anyhow, today, went to Botanical Gardens! fed swans! the orchid garden is fabulous! :) (maybe go there take wedding photos.... muahahahaha... ;) we took a humongous lot of photos... then went to borders, and then to the fort canning hill and it RAINED! cats and dogs.... no.... elephants and gorillas! thankfully we had umbrellas... :) and hiah2 came to fetch us to lau pat sat for drink and makan! yum yum.... and then, we split ways... coz got to go back and bathe before going for meeting.... smelly lah... :P
tomorrow, going to KL for church camp! so excited! going away, going for feeding of God's Word... really hungry you know? and Hiah2 and i need recharging... reminds me of a church in the Philippines : "Jesus, the battery recharger" cool name for a church huh? pray for us, yeah? love you guys! :) *hugz* not forgetting, pray for Sus, as she got a super packed schedule, and Liwei, who's going to Tekong tomorrow... Justin, who's gotta major decision to make by tomorrow... Chari, who got lotsa things on her plate... Nat, studying for exams... Fabian and Daniel, Mother Tongue exam on 6June (oral) O levels... yeah.... Jo, come on sat hor... ;)
