Hi! I havn't posted since 16th July! that's more than a month ago! I should start at events that happened in July.
Point C is a very unique ministry... it's very different from my previous ministry. But since God has placed me here, i'm seeking Him for guidance. Each new experience= new growth! i cannot stay stagnant and think i'm ok. far from it! so many imperfections... old sins that i thought i have conquered come and plague me and i have to fight them off again... hahaha...
on 31st July was Hiah2's bday. since he didn't blog about it, i would! :P
On that day, unfortunately, we both had to work, till late. He had SFC and I had school. In the evening, I brought him out to VivoCity. It was kinda farnie cos i had to ask him, "Ahh, Hiah, so how to get to sentosa?" hahaha... i should have checked the street directory first, but i didn't! reason was i FINALLY decided on the "PLAN" at 5pm that day! Thank God for credit card (it can b a curse too, if abused!) I could book online...
He of course played along with me. And when we were reaching the sentosa entrance, i zoomed towards the vivo entrance. hahahah... smart uh? ;) anyhows, brought him to the cinema floor, parked him at the figurine shop and collected my tix...
when we walked about one around around to kill time, i still hadn't told him the plan... hahaha.... then whoom! brought him to the cinema and there were 2 entrances: the normal one and the gold class one....
He said,"Wha, gold class uh?" and i said,"Yah, of coz" and steered him towards that entrance.... should have captured his expression on camera... hahahaha.... he was like wow! honestly, that was the first time at gold class for me too, and i was as blur as him. Thankfully there was a "host" who brought us to our plush seats (those that can elevate your feet at the push of the button):)
Ordered pizza set dinner for one. cos we already have a drink and nachos with us.... great experience... :) it's quite ex though, but once in a while lah! for us, it was just once! don't know when is the next time.

August.... ok, i had exam on 2 August. Thank God it was quite easy. :) open book exam, so we had the liberty to bring almost anything to the exam with us. For me, and many others, it was standard: Look at the question, look at the key word, look up the index and find the answer ;)
The examiners were quite kind also lah! it's my first exam in don't know how many years lah! when we arrived at the NIE, people were walking about with their noses in their books, people were sitting around, mugging! it was quite a scary sight! hahahaha..... thank God it went well! waiting for results (should be in a month's time!)
right now i've started on a NEW module, just last wednesday. Its called "Teaching approaches in language blah blah blah" the first few pages of the textbook put me to sleep - it was about the history of language! how people taught language in the past. *yawnz* yes, dear reader, i can see you yawning already! so can you imagine i have to plough through THAT for 70 pages before this wednesday... i cannot imagine also.
First lesson was interesting. tutor is Dr Joyce James (no doubt some of you may be familiar with the authour, james joyce but she is not him). anyway, she took 2 hours for us to introduce ourselves. Half my class happen to be sec sch teachers.. pretty cool... and most are teaching express, normal and technical...
interesting class... hope i can survive this one - 2 assignments: 1 group (40%), 1 individual (50%), class participation (10%) - NO EXAM! YAY! :)
